Earn points by completing quizzes and use them to enter prize draws for valuable rewards!
How to Earn Points
Taking Quizzes
The primary way to earn points is by completing educational quizzes:
- Correct Answers: Earn points for each question you answer correctly
- Quiz Completion: Bonus points for finishing the entire quiz
- First Attempt Bonus: Extra points if you pass on your first try
Point Values
Different quizzes award different point amounts based on:
- Quiz difficulty level
- Number of questions
- Topic importance
Viewing Your Points Balance
Check your total points anytime:
- View your profile page
- Check the top navigation bar (shows total points)
- Review your quiz history to see points earned per quiz
Using Points for Prize Draws
Entering Draws
When you have enough points:
- Navigate to Prizes → Prize Draws
- View current and upcoming draws
- Check minimum points required
- Click Enter Draw if eligible
Entry Requirements
Prize draws may require:
- Minimum point balance (e.g., 100 points)
- Minimum number of quizzes completed
- Specific user role (Asylum Seeker or General User)
Multiple Entries
Some draws allow multiple entries:
- Spend more points for additional entries
- More entries = higher chance of winning
- Your total points determine maximum entries allowed
Points Don't Expire
Good news! Your points never expire:
- Accumulate points over time
- Save for bigger prize draws
- No pressure to spend immediately
After Entering a Draw
When you enter a draw:
- Points are deducted from your balance
- You're entered into the draw pool
- Wait for the draw date
- Winners are notified by email
If You Don't Win
Don't worry if you don't win a particular draw:
- Continue taking quizzes to earn more points
- New draws are scheduled regularly (usually monthly)
- Each draw is independent - better luck next time!
Tips for Maximizing Points
- Take quizzes you're interested in - you'll learn more and do better
- Review explanations - understand the material before retaking
- Complete series - some quiz series offer bonus points
- First try bonus - try to pass quizzes on your first attempt
- Regular participation - take quizzes consistently to build points
Fair Play
Our points system is designed to be fair:
- Everyone earns points the same way
- No shortcuts or point purchases
- Winners are selected randomly from entries
- More entries increase odds but don't guarantee winning
